What will your role look like

  • Provide 24×7 support for VMware-based infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of any technical issues.
  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, and related technologies, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and resolve any concerns related to VMware infrastructure.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to track incidents, problems, and change requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of virtualized environments.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and optimization of VMware environments to ensure consistent reliability and scalability.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution to ensure business continuity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest VMware technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the services offered to clients.

We would like you to bring along

  • Able to work in rotational shifts as this project will be of 24 X 7 365 days.
  • Good communication, should be able to directly communicate with clients
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of infrastructure products (Physical & virtual servers)
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi
  • Good Understanding on Linux/Windows. Must be proficient in at least one .
  • Good knowledge on automation/scripting
  • Must have certification on Install Configure and Manage vSphere 7.0.
  • Must have professional level certification from VMware either on Network Virtualization , VSAN,End User computing ,Data Center Virtualization etc.
  • Should have worked on VMware ESXi, vCenter vSphere Suite Management, Patching and Troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
